Solstice and Dawn

The Cascadian Chorale celebrates the natural joys of winter: dark solstice, northern lights, blowing wind, snowy evenings, starry nights, radiant dawns. In this varied program of music by living composers, including major luminaries such as Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo, John Rutter, James MacMillan, and Reena Esmail. Northwest composers Sheila Bristow, Andrew Jacobson, Jeremy Kings, Naomi LaViolette, and John W. Ward are given special prominence.
